The Delegation of Prague to the EU held on 11th of May 2017 official opening of the new exhibition ,, NEW PAINTINGS‘‘ by Jiří Sopko, well-known Czech painter, drawer, sculptor, graphic
and professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.
Jiří Sopko is considered one of the leading figures of the Czech contemporary art scene. The exhibition was introduced by the curator of the exhibition, Vilém Kabzan. The event was accompanied by a music performance of duo ba:zel (Ewelina Chiu & Daniel Vlček).
