Born on February 20, 1942 in Dubové (Transcarpathian Ruthenia)
1956-60 Secondary School of Art in Prague
1960-66 Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (AVU), (student of prof. J. Horník and A. Pelc)
1969-71 Assistent in studio of prof. Smetana at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague
since 1990 Head of the Studio of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague
1987 Member of the Free Association 12/15
1991 Appointed professor
1992 Member of Umělecká beseda (Patriotic Society of Artists)
2002 Elected by Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague
